A tablet, a plant oil and a fish oil offer three different approaches. Look at the wider diet, allergens and what is easiest to feed consistently.
A coat reflects grooming, diet, age, season and general health. Itching, redness, odour, bald patches or repeated ear trouble may point to parasites, infection, allergy or another condition that a supplement cannot identify.
A source of protein and naturally occurring nutrients, used here in tablet form with green-lipped mussel.
A plant oil led by omega-6 linoleic acid. It is the more direct fit when the aim is nutritional support for a dry, dull or flaky coat and the normal skin moisture barrier. It is not a substitute for the EPA and DHA supplied by fish oil.
A marine source of EPA and DHA. It is the more direct fit when supporting the body’s normal inflammatory response is the aim, including alongside care for itchy, red or irritated skin. It does not diagnose or treat the cause.
Check the existing diet, avoid duplicated ingredients, choose a format your dog accepts and change only one thing at a time. Oils add calories, so include them in the overall ration. Persistent skin signs should be assessed by a vet.
